Transformers Movie Wallpaper

Transformers Movie Wallpaper
Are you Transformers fan? You like the transformers movie? You want to create your own exclusive wallpaper to enjoy it every day on your desktop? Ok, then this Photoshop tutorial will be useful for you.

First of all, create a new document sized 1900×1200 pixels, then set up foreground and background color as #000000 and #46577c and apply Filter > Render > Clouds:
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 01
After that start with creating a composition and after that we will go back to background to finish it off. So, I would like to bring picture of transformer to our wallpaper. Actually you can use different pictures heroes of this movie, but I prefer to use the picture of Barricade. Open up the picture and copy the image to the left lower corner of the wallpaper. Don’t forget to reduce it.
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 02
After that select the Brush Tool and a soft round brush (Size: 500px) and paint left side of transformer with black color to create an impression coming out of the darkness.
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 03
Duplicate this layer with Ctrl+J, go back to upper original layer and enlarge it a little bit more. Then apply Filter > Blur > Motion Blur with following presets:
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 04
Your effect should look as mine:
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 05
Then apply another one Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur:
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 06
And set opacity up to 55%.
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 07
Ok, now continue background stylizing. Go to background layer and paint background partially with black color using the Brush Tool with soft round brush about 300 pixels. You should have the picture like mine:
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 08
Now let’s add some text. Get out the Horizontal Type Tool (just the regular one) and write out something like ‘Transformers’ with any color. Use such font settings like on picture below:
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 09
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 10
In the above image I’ve used a font called SF TransRobotics, which you can download here. Let’s move to the next step. I think, it will be a good idea to stylize the title. Check out the texture resources and find some nice metal texture or feel free to use mine. Copy texture to the canvas, resize it then crop it to the words logo pixels (go to the text layer and load the text selection with Select > Load Selection, after that invert selection with Ctrl+Shift+I and then go back to the texture layer and press Delete to clear selected area).
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 11
Remove the selection with Ctrl+D, after that get out the Sharpen Tool (Brush: 150 px, Mode: Normal, Strength: 30%) and make this layer sharpen.
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 12
Ok, now apply following layer styles for this layer:
• Inner Glow
• Bevel and Emboss
• Color Overlay

See the result on the picture below:
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 16
Add the second text line in the same way.
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 17
Ok, time to add the last one object – the Deceptions’ logo. You can find black and white logo thru the Google Images or use mine and bring it to our canvas like on my picture below:
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 18
Use the Polygonal Lasso Tool to separate logo from the background, then press Ctrl+I to invert the selection and press Delete to clear selected area. After that stylize it like the text lines.
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 19
We are almost done with wallpapers! Now, select the Dodge Tool (Brush: 80 px, Range: Highlights, Exposure: 20% ) to do a little bit of dodge-work on the logo.
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 20
And the last thing that we need to do! To make our metallic effect more realistic we can add some glares to our logo. Now select the Elliptical Marquee Tool and make round selection. Then get out the Gradient Tool, make black and white your foreground and background colors, and set the gradient similar to these:
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 21
Deselect object with Ctrl+D and transform it by using Edit > Free Transform like on picture below:
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 22
Change layer mode to Color Dodge and rotate like on my picture.
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 23
Then bring more glares to picture like mine:
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 24
Our logo is done. Looking great! Actually, to bring our logotype more brightness apply Ellipse Tool to make a sphere and fill it with a black color as on picture below:
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 25
Ok, press Ctrl+D and apply Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur with 100 pixels of radius.
Transformers Movie Wallpaper 26
Well, we’re done with the wallpapers! I hope it was sufficient. Don’t be afraid to experiment!

An Interesting Graffiti Effect

An Interesting Graffiti Effect
Here is one more interesting tutorial how to create an interesting graffiti effect on the wall using Photoshop tools.

So, let’s start! First of all it will be good to find the wall texture. I tried this one. Open up this file and start to stylize the texture. In the beginning use Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation with next presets.
An Interesting Graffiti Effect 01
Correct hue, saturation and brightness for current texture. You result should be next:
An Interesting Graffiti Effect 02
Ok, move to the next step. This texture will be better with adding a little bit sharpness. Use the Sharpen Tool and a soft round brush about 400px.
An Interesting Graffiti Effect 03
Looks better, don’t you think? Now, start with graffiti. Go to Google Images and find some appropriate image (pay your attention that we will use just image, no photos). This one will be good. Open up it and copy to the main canvas with texture. Change layer mode for this picture to Multiply.
An Interesting Graffiti Effect 04
You might also want to try stylize it. I have one interesting idea for you. Get started by selecting the Smudge Tool and use one of the standard Photoshop brushes.
An Interesting Graffiti Effect 05
Create a couple of long smudges as on my picture below:
An Interesting Graffiti Effect 06
After that select the Sharpen Tool to make it sharpen.
An Interesting Graffiti Effect 07
This design wouldn’t be complete without some sort of text now, would it? Start by getting out the Horizontal Type Tool and write out some text, in this case I used two lines of text.
An Interesting Graffiti Effect 08
The graffiti font which I’ve used above is called Eraser, and you can download it completely for free from here. After you’re all done with the text settings, position it accordingly by using Edit > Transform > Rotate and move it up a little bit.
An Interesting Graffiti Effect 09
Looks good, isn’t it? Ok, move to the next step. To create an impression that the text dealt with the stencil. Use the Polygonal Lasso Tool to create selection as on my picture below:
An Interesting Graffiti Effect 10
Then reverse the selected area with Ctrl+Shift I and then get out the Brush Tool and one of the standard Photoshop brushes to create spray spots with black color.
An Interesting Graffiti Effect 11
The result should be the next:
An Interesting Graffiti Effect 12
Remove the selection with Ctrl+D. We are done for now! Enjoy your own cool graffiti and don’t be afraid to experiment!

Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect

Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect
Here I’ll show you how to make a collage, using mosaic effect.

Ok, start with creating a new document sized 500×500 pixels and use the Paint Bucket Tool to fill canvas area with color of #355b00.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 01
After that create a new layer and apply the Elliptical Marquee Tool to make a sphere selection as on a picture below, then fill this selected area with color of #97f501
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 02
Remove selection with pressing Ctrl+D and for the image jitter apply Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur with 67 pixels of radius.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 03
Then mess with the layer mode. I tried Overlay.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 04
Merge two of these layers in one and start with creating mosaic. I want to try to draw mosaic flower. Let’s start! In the beginning create a new one layer and then select the Elliptical Marquee Tool to make selection like on the picture below. Fill this selection with any color you like, It doesn’t matter now.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 05
After that create another one selection as on my screenshot what you can see below, invert it with Ctrl+Shift+I and press Delete button to clear selection.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 06
Remove selection with Ctrl+D. We get the first petal of the mosaic. Move it in the same position as mine.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 07
After that duplicate this layer (Layer > Duplicate Layer), then reduce it a little bit and rotate with Edit > Transform > Free Transform.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 08
Make the petal selection using Select > Load Selection and apply Select > Modify > Expand to expand selection about 2 pixels. Move to the lower layer and press Delete to clear selection. Your result should be as mine.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 09
Now, remove selection with Ctrl+D. Move to the upper layer again and duplicate it with Ctrl+J. After that merge all layers with petals in one layer, except topmost. Go back to it and rotate it as the layer before.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 10
Create more petals in the same way.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 11
Ok, after that merge all of layers with petals in one and apply Gradient Overlay and Stroke layer styles for current layer.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 12
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 13
See the result below.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 14
Ok, now I would like to add a couple of other colors petals to create cool mosaic effect. Create a new one leaf as was written on this lesson in the beginning. Apply color of #82a203 for this layer.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 15
After that apply Stroke layer style to this layer.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 16
Now, we have something like this:
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 17
Ok, then add a couple of petals more to the mosaic. Apply the same Blending Options as before to each layer.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 18
Merge all layers with petals in one layer. After that select the Burn Tool (Brush: 100 px, Range: Midtones, Exposure: 50%) to add gradients somewhere on the flower.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 19
Apply another one Blending Option to received layer: Outer Glow.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 20
You can see the result below.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 21
After that move to the next step. Press Ctrl+J to copy the layer and hide the copy (click on the eye, which indicates layer visibility). Go to lower layer and set opacity up to 18%. Go back to the hidden copy of layer and make it visible again. Press Ctrl+T to reduce this layer as was shown on my picture below.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 22
Ok, we are almost done with this tutorial, but one more step left. Then I would like to add some floral elements. For this you can use these brushes or feel free to use your own. Go to the background layer and create a new one layer above. Create a composition like on picture shown below using Brush Tool and white color of prints. Change layer mode to Overlay and set opacity up to 40% for this layer.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 23
After that create a new one layer more and add a couple of floral prints more in black color. Set opacity up to 25% for this layer.
Make a Collage Using Mosaic Effect 24
Looks good, isn’t it? Hope I liked this tutorial and get adorable results. We are done for now! Good luck in your experiments!
